Things to Do in St. Pete

As the largest, trendiest city in the St. Pete/Clearwater region, St. Pete is filled to the brim with things to do. Art museums and botanical gardens, eateries and breweries, parks and piers are just the beginning of the attractions in this welcoming waterfront town.

Many of the best things to do in St. Pete are clustered in downtown St. Pete, including the famed Dalí Museum, the charming St. Petersburg Saturday Morning Market, and the St. Pete Pier. After a day filled with these incredible stops, spend your evening dining at the best downtown restaurants (Cassis or Red Mesa Cantina, anyone?) and exploring the district’s thriving nightlife scene.

But there’s more to St. Pete than just its downtown. Find the lovely Sunken Gardens in the Old Northeast neighborhood, play a few rounds at the renowned Vinoy Golf Club on Snell Isle, and go for a paddling adventure at Weedon Island Preserve. 

And all of that doesn’t even touch on the city’s many entertaining events! Check out the Reggae Rise Up Music Festival in March, the St. Pete Pride Festival in June, and the SHINE St. Pete Mural Festival in October. Simply put, it’s safe to say that there’s always something to do in St. Pete.
