What Visitors Love
Had a very nice lunch at the Osprey restaurant today. Our server was Katie. She was outstanding. Very personable, professional and took care of our every need.. The manager and staff were also super nice. Came over to our table to make sure everything was good. Definitely would go back.
We stayed here to do a pottery class that we signed up for. Our room has 2 beds and a third from the couch pull out bed which wasnt bad at all. There's a small kitchen, small refrigerator, toaster, and a small amount of kitchenware. Not bad for a 2 night stay. Indo have to mention that the regular beds are so tall that my mother who is older could not get up on the bed and was getting leg cramps just from trying to get into the bed so the second night I gave her the pullout couch to sleep on which I felt bad about (at first). But after sleeping in the super high bed, I realized she made out cause the pullout couch was way more comfortable than the nice bed was. I'm pretty sore today. And the TV was a nightmare to work. Lol but I guess if you're not in the room very long than it won't matter. I will also mention that we needed more coffee for the coffee maker and a few more coffee cups and they brought them right over. That was nice. We did eat at the grill in property and there was no one in there for a week day but it took what felt like forever to get 2 cheeseburgers and chicken fingers, which made us a litte frustrated but the manager could tell right away that we were frustrated and he apologized and and absolutely gave us a discount which I don't think he even needed to do but he did. Also the food was amazing. The cheeseburger was great and the fries were out of this world. Lol so they truly did take care of us. Which is really appreciated.
.mThe "Best Kept Secret" for Steak in Tampa Bay We just had another wonderful experience at Packard’s Steakhouse, and it has officially become our go-to spot for the best steak in the Tampa Bay area. This was our second visit, and once again, the food was exceptionally fresh and delicious. My wife loves seafood and the fresh grouper at Packards was tender and most delicious. The service remains top-notch—our server, Ralph, was absolutely awesome and made the evening feel special. If you are looking for a meal that is every bit as good as Bern’s Steakhouse, but without the ungodly wait to get a table, this is the place to go. It offers that classic, high-end steakhouse quality with a much more inviting and accessible atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Matt J. at the Copperhead Clubhouse exemplifies what hospitality in golf should be. I wasn’t staying or playing—just a fanboy passing through to admire the course—but Matt treated me like a member from the moment I arrived. His genuine warmth, easy smile, and effortless professionalism turned a casual visit into a memorable experience. He shared stories about the course, pointed me toward Striker, offered drink recommendations, and even helped me pick out merchandise that would make my golf buddies jealous. Every interaction reflected pride in the course and a passion for people. I’ve been fortunate to play incredible courses around the world, but Matt’s service reminded me that golf isn’t just about the swing—it’s about the spirit. His attention to detail and enthusiasm bridged the gap between being a player and being a true golfer. It's not often that people ask me for my military card to ensure I get the Military discount. Salute, sir! The old saying goes that it’s hard to find good help these days, but Matt proved that great service still exists. He embodies the integrity, grit, and class that Copperhead stands for. Matt J. is a credit to the Copperhead Clubhouse and the game itself. His professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression. Kudos, sir—your passion makes Copperhead feel like the greatest course on earth. Cheerz!
