Holiday Inn St. Petersburg North / Clearwater

Had a great stay at the Holiday Inn in St. Petersburg. It was my significant other’s first time in the area, and we wanted somewhere calm and relaxing rather than a busy or party-oriented hotel. This was exactly what we were looking for. The room was clean, room service was discreet and pleasant, and parking was easy. Most activities were about 10–30 minutes away, which is pretty much the case no matter where you stay in the area. I booked through a third-party site, and the staff still accommodated my weekend request even though it wasn’t guaranteed. Everyone was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. We did have a minor issue with the key cards, but the staff provided a quick, hassle-free solution every time. Definitely a place I’d stay again.

Pretty decent option, for the price it's definitely the best option. Summer, hot day and the pool is full of bugs. Not 5 bugs, no. The whole pool is absolutely filled with bugs. The keycards are a bit finicky. Location is decent. Customer service - pretty decent. Rooms - couple drawbacks like bad ac noise but rooms are pretty clean so it's a balanced experience. Quiet hardly any noise heard from our room. Just the pool thing upset me. Upkeep the pool when it's a nice hot summer day so guests can enjoy it... come on now. Hot tub - broken when we visited not sure about now. Definitely not luxury, very outdated but reasonable and affordable option.
