Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Clearwater

Just stayed here last Friday, July 3, 2026. Hotel is very clean. Rooms were spacious, as were the bathrooms. The lobby restaurant served up a beautiful breakfast for us. The front desk person Lucille couldn’t have been any nicer. She really took care of my friend and I. We used the airport shuttle to get to the airport and to get back to the hotel from the airport upon our arrival back. Thedrivers were courteous and prompt. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area and recommended to everyone.

I stayed here for 2 nights in June of 2026. The staff was courteous, polite, and helpful. The rooms were updated and clean. i am writing this to make future guests aware. i am not a fan of the process to get breakfast. the only thing i want to point out is that the morning breakfast is not what i expected. although the food tasted good, the manner in which i had to order was convoluted. i arrived in the lobby just before the kitchen opened (6:20am) and there was a line of 9 people waiting to order. instead of the normal buffet style breakfast, we had to place an order at the counter, grab a number to set on our table, and they brought the food to me. on paper, that process sounds great, but in reality, it is not. convenience was taken from the guest. in addition, the guest could not get their own coffee.

Drinks were wonderfully made at The Bistro and the food was always delicious. Very accommodating staff and clean rooms. No issues with parking or any sort of pests. Close by to several fast food restaurants in walking distance as well as many different restaurants by car or delivery. Their laundry was very easy to use - pay by card for use and complimentary supplies at the front desk. The gym was very clean and well stocked as well with an electric bike, a few treadmills, free weights, and some ellipticals.

Don't be fooled by the website saying you can be 18 to rent a room. I would like to actually be able to review the rooms but I can really only review the service. My 20 year old daughter and her 20 year old fiance reserved a room while they were on vacation in Madeira. They only needed one night, the website said 18+ could rent a room. When they called to see if they could check in early they were informed that you actually had to be 21 to rent the room. No exceptions even though the website clearly stated, and still does by the way, that you only have to be 18. The woman said the website is wrong. Well, fix it then because this is very confusing. They had just been in a condo for a whole week by themselves and rented the condo on their own through Airbnb. They could have even called to verify that they were not partiers and were perfect renters. This is absolutely ridiculous. They had to scramble, on the 4th of July, to find a house to rent for one night on Airbnb. They just wanted to stay in Florida for an extra night to see fireworks. I have no idea how young people go on honeymoons anymore with these restrictions. Get married and have babies but rent a hotel room or rent a car NOOOOO, they're just not responsible enough.

Hotel was clean and well kept. Room was nice with a view of the inner courtyard and pool area. We were a little early for ckeck-in so our room wasn't ready yet. Normally, they still check you in and call you when it's ready. We were fine waiting by the pool for a little. However, reception didn't check us in. She said she was going of shift and would leave a note for the next person. After 90 minutes of waiting with no call, we went back to reception where the new person had no idea we were waiting and our room was ready more than 30 minutes ago. The location was about 15 min from downtown St. Pete which was fine. However, the first hotel on the street was a La Quinta which had some sketch people walking around at night. Almost hit someone walking in the road at night while turning onto the drive which is a blind turn.
