Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg/Downtown

This hotel is reasonably located for access to the downtown plus access to the Bay and the parks that abound St. Petersburg. Rooms are good, a bit dated but overall clean and in decent condition. Typical room size for such a hotel, not big, not small. Let's be cryptic ha. Service was excellent by Kiemila, hope that is spelled correctly or close enough. She is very welcoming and helpful. Always has a smile and willing to engage. I did not engage with the Bistro or food offerings. One downside is the woeful fitness room, bare bones especially for a Marriott. Overall an experience that is valued and would return.

A long night of drinking in St. Pete led to needing a room to crash for the night while I recovered before crossing the bridge back to Tampa. This location was super convenient to get to from Central, had an incredibly easy check in process and the valet parking came in handy considering St. Pete parking is always problematic. When checking in the front desk staff mentioned all the amenities and how the hotel itself was 100 years old - very cool, I love history and while you can tell the place has been remodeled a few times it still keeps that classic charm but everything was so well laid out. The room was nice and I loved that that as soon as I left my room in the morning I was able to get a cup of Starbucks before starting my day proper.

We stayed during the 4th of July weekend and I have to say this was one of the best stays at a hotel. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and loved that they served us champagne and cookies and had treats for our doggie 🐶! And even when we left they had a toy for him which he loved! Everyone was great but the two that stood out to us with exceptional service was Henrea and Brian .. great service from beginning to end. I’d stay here again when we go to the beach 🏖️ again. Their service was better than Vinoy’s service and I actually frequent there. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality. Rocky thanks you too !

We had a nice stay once again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Alex and Max were both there when we checked in and made sure we had foam pillows. In fact, they sent someone to our room to double-check our request. The room was very clean.

I cannot say enough good stuff about this hotel. We stayed here because our grandson is at All Children's Hospital on life support. Carla was an angel. From helping us get a good rate to giving us a couple breakfast vouchers. She asked us daily how he was doing. All the staff was amazing. Rooms were nice. Beds were comfortable. If i could give more than five stars i would. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone.
