Safety Harbor Resort & Spa is truly one of Florida’s hidden gems. Set right on the shores of Tampa Bay, this historic resort is built around the natural Espiritu Santo mineral springs, which have been drawing visitors for generations. The natural mineral spring pools, steam rooms, indoor pools, whirlpools, and spa create the perfect place to relax and recharge. One of my favorite places is the outdoor pool area. Between the cabanas, the poolside Tiki Bar, and the beautiful waterfront setting, it feels like a little slice of paradise. And if you haven’t experienced their Sunday brunch, you’re missing out… it’s absolutely fantastic and worth the trip all by itself. What makes this destination even more special is its location. Step outside the resort and you’re just a short walk from charming Main Street in Safety Harbor, filled with unique shops, wonderful restaurants, and one of the most dog-friendly communities you’ll find. It’s the kind of place where people slow down, stroll with their dogs, and simply enjoy the day. Whether you’re planning a spa day, a weekend getaway, or just stopping in for brunch, Safety Harbor Resort & Spa is a place I find myself recommending again and again. It’s a timeless Florida treasure that deserves to be experienced.

Our group of girls stayed two weeks ago at Safety Harbor Resort & Spa, Olympia Tower, Room 354, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. A special thank you to Enea, the Guest Services Supervisor, who truly made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived at the resort, he welcomed us with kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. He personally made sure we were comfortable, helped us get settled in our room, and took the time to explain everything about the resort. Enea shared information about the beautiful upgrades and improvements throughout the property, recommended great places to visit in the area, and made sure we knew how to make the most of our stay. His knowledge, positive attitude, and attention to detail made us feel truly welcomed and appreciated. When it was time for our check-out, Enea once again went above and beyond to assist us and make our departure smooth and stress-free. Exceptional guest service comes from people who truly care, and Enea is a perfect example of that. He is a tremendous asset to Safety Harbor Resort & Spa and represents the highest level of hospitality. Thank you, Enea, for making our stay so special and memorable. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with outstanding service.

May I just say that the Fountain Grille Restaurant inside the Resort is top notch. From the superb service to the quality and freshness of the cuisine, it is comparable to a 5-star experience. Our awesome server, Corina, was quick and had our every need anticipated. My compliments to the restaurant manager for creating a wonderful experience for my family. The hotel is historic and beautiful in and of itself and the spa is just what I needed. We live in Tampa and always stay here when we need a little away time from the real world and will continue doing so for years to come.

I would like to highly compliment the chef Adelina in the main restaurant. Her Lobster bisque soup out rivals Jordan Lobster Farm on Long Island NY and Bigalow’s in Rockvillle Center, NY! The salmon dish she cooked was perfection. The dish was married with all the flavors. Excellent!! I also want to compliment the manager at the Spa, Renvye Byrd. She was a God send. A beautiful woman inside and out. Impeccable customer service, attentive to me as if I was the only person that mattered in the whole word. The door men/valet where beautiful gentlemen of distinction and grace especially Robert from Ohio who adores his grandson. His son is lucky to have such a good grandpa. Most everyone have contributed to an excellent stay with wonderful customer service from Chris at the front desk and his manager to the waiters and waitresses in the dining room especially Anna Boruk and Ergi who ran downstairs to the cafe just to get me a cappuccino. Good job everyone!

My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful one-night getaway at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, and it was exactly the refreshing break we needed. The location is absolutely stunning; we spent quite a bit of time taking in the waterfront views** and strolling along the peaceful boardwalk. Our room was impressively large and comfortable, providing a perfect home base for the stay. The Spa & Facilities: The pool and spa facilities are top-notch. The treatments were rejuvenating, and the entire atmosphere encourages total relaxation. Dining: We had a fantastic meal at the on-site restaurant, the food and service were both excellent. The Staff: Every team member we encountered was professional, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. It is rare to find a place that balances historic charm with such great amenities. We left feeling completely pampered and will definitely be returning in the future!
