Island Way Grill

Enjoyed a lovely meal here with excellent service. My salmon was fabulous but my husband’s hogfish was very thin so not filling, unfortunately. Our friends’ meals had generous portions. A/C in main dining room wasn’t working well so anyone inclined to get hot, was sweating. I was ok but just mentioning because it was surprisingly warm.

Fantastic food and a great atmosphere and the staff are eager to please. Definately something special if you are having an event or a special someone to enjoy it with. Even thought it is busy it still seems to allow for your group to chat and enjoy the time. There is free valet service and a free parking area but the real star if the show is the food. There is also an oyster and sushi batlr that have some incredible flavours that are definately worth the trip.

We just had our wedding here in March 2026 and i cannot say enough good things about it! Our day was absolutely perfect thanks to Amber and her team! The room was beautiful and exactly how we wanted it to be, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was DELICIOUS. All of our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how good the food and service was! Thank you so much for making our day so special

We had not been here in 16 years, and we have talked about Island Way Grill ever since our last visit. We were so excited to return and hopeful that what we remembered would still be the same, and it absolutely was. The restaurant has changed a bit over the years. It feels a little bigger and more casual now, but the food is still outstanding, and the service is excellent. Everything we had was delicious, and the overall experience reminded us exactly why this place left such a lasting impression. This is truly one of our favorite restaurants, and we will continue talking about it until the next time we return. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Clearwater. We did make reservations ahead of time, which actually made our visit a little easier since they were able to accommodate us right away.

Hello all, We've been to Island Way Grille quite some time ago. It was excellant. However...this time was a little less than excellant. The surf and turf( steak and shrimp) was not cooked as requested. Medium rare,it came out menium well. Too much mashed potato that the surf and turf was sitting in. Still the main course had good taste..hense the four stars. Our party arrived before the the 5:30PM cutoff for half price on drinks. We were charged full price for the drinks...also... I did notice on the bill,three dollar charge for ice....THREE DOLLARS! I realize that there's a water shortage...should I have to pay for the cubes in our drinks! I think not... The service was okay. I feel our wait person may have been relatively new and shouldn't have missed the full price on our beverages. rea
