Daydreamers Cafe & Grill

Nice spot for breakfast or lunch We had been meaning to try this place for a while and a street fair was the perfect opportunity. The place is located just off one of the main streets in Safety Harbor. It is small inside but it does have some outdoor spots as well. The inside and out is decorated in a beach whimsey style. The service was prompt and friendly and we didn't have long to wait for our food. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and my wife had the Pork Snitzel breakfast. Both were tasty. The portion on the breakfast was generous. We'll be coming back for another breakfast soon.

This place is so cool. Very nice Floridian Key west vibe. I had a burger and it was fantastic. One of my friends said her vegan eggs were one of the best she’d had. Best part was the service, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. You feel like you’re over someone’s house for dinner and not just dining at a restaurant. Great vibes and five stars!!

We stopped here for a brunch meal. It is a cute atmosphere but that was about it. Our steak was ordered medium and came out so rare that it was nearly inedible. We were given a comical amount of fries with our sandwiches. I had the breakfast cuban and was not impressed. Our drinks were more often empty than filled. It was an okay brunch spot but we will not be back.

If you’re in Safety Harbor, do yourself a favor and stop by Daydreamer Café. The atmosphere is absolutely adorable—super cozy, warm, and welcoming, with the kind of charm that makes you want to stay awhile and relax. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. You can really tell this place is run with care and pride. The food was absolutely delicious, and it’s obvious that everything is made with quality, fresh ingredients and a homemade touch. Between the cozy vibe, the friendly service, and the amazing food, this place is a true gem. I’ll definitely be coming back!

What a whimsical and fun place! Went here on a Sunday after church, on a recommendation from a friend. A downtown Safety Harbor little jewel. Our party of three were seated right away and brought menus. We scoured the menu and were brought drinks. My daughter chose the Black and Blue Bacon Burger, my daughter's beau selected the Bacon and Cheddar Burger, and I wanted to try the Womelette with Spinach and Feta. We chatted for a while and looked around the visually stunning room. There was a plush pony playing the piano, multiple unicorns, a psychedelic deer head, rainbows, and posters all around. It was walking into a My Little Pony dream. This also was the theme outside and even on their "company car." Our food came and the others were very impressed with the burgers. They were both tasty and did not spare the amount of Bacon! My first attempt at a Waffle/Omelet, the Womelette, was disappointing. I envisioned two halves (or whole) waffles, made from eggs alone, with the Feta and Spinach inside. Instead, they were placed on top of the waffle. This made for a very dry and disappointing taste. I'm glad I did try it. Luckily the others shared a couple bites of their burgers. A pleasant atmosphere, almost circus-like, and definitely eye catching. Service was great and I think it would be a great place to bring our grandkids.
