Highly recommend the inside area of restaurant if you want the better food. Outdoor beach restaurant is more happening if you want to here music and live band playing after 4pm also good strong drinks if your out to feel nice. Its also a good spot to walk to beach and catch sunset. My wife and I wanted a more quite dinner with better food and more entrees. Basically two restaurants same name. Outdoors for beautiful sunset and band playing with comfort food and indoors for better dinner options. I had the snapper dinner special with Coconut rice and broccoli with a curry sauce and it was delicious, my wife had the signature seafood and coconut curry which she enjoyed very much except to much curry sauce and seafood was growing in sauce and it became overwhelming but no complaints on taste just recommend you ask for less curry sauce and dish will be perfect. For dessert we had chocolate mousse kahlua cake which was very good. Highly recommend this restaurant will come again and try another dish next time. The next day we had lunch at Coconut Charlie's Beachside in the outside and no complaints Melanie our waitress was great we started with two Pina Coladas not only strong but very good followed by blackened chicken ceasar salad which my wife enjoyed very much and I had the best grouper fish sandwich with fries which I enjoyed with great seasoning. Can't complain all atound Coconut Charlie is a great spot to have both lunch and dinner . Good Tines and good Vibes.

Overall rating: 4.7 Visiting from NYC I arrived really late from the airport, about ~1hr before closing. While it was kinda dead, the service was attentive-ish. I was a bit nervous, but I feel like I was able to order, get food and enjoy my time - fish tacos 4/5 - Beach side cooler 2/5 - Side of queso 4/5 - Total: $56 I’m staying at the hotel so I also went to the front area for breakfast. Josh and Dana were absolute sweethearts and were so nice! I ordered. The grits were not good. So I’m happy I just did a side vs the full meal. The potatoes and sausage were great, but the eggs were just alright. The fruit was refreshing and I actually loved the orange juice.

If you make reservations please know that is for the grill which is in front of the hotel by the road not by the beach. Best bet just show up in the back and seat yourself. Inside food was more like a Bahamas Breeze vibe. Drink was ok they were out of alot of options from salad option. Teriyaki chicken screws were really good.

This beachfront restaurant bar on St. Pete Beach is exactly what you hope to find when you’re looking for a relaxed, fun spot by the water. I only stopped in for drinks this time, but everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked incredible—the menu is surprisingly diverse, and every dish that passed by looked fresh and well-prepared. The drinks were the real highlight for me. They were made perfectly—balanced, refreshing, and clearly crafted by people who know what they’re doing. Even better, the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. There’s plenty of seating right out by the beach, so you can sit back with a drink, feel the ocean breeze, and watch the sunset. Add in live music every night, and it really creates a great atmosphere that’s hard to beat. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to—next time, I’m trying the food.
