Amazing kayak tour! It ended up being just three of us early in the morning, so it felt like a private experience. Our guide, Raven, was knowledgeable and personable, sharing great info about the area, wildlife, and plants. We even saw a manatee before leaving the dock! Highlights included dolphins, stingrays, birds, and kayaking through the beautiful mangrove tunnels. Such a fun and memorable morning—highly recommend!

We had a wonderful mid-morning kayaking tour with Alessia at Get Up and Go Kayaking. She was engaging, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and special. She guided us through the mangrove cave, pointed out interesting things along the way—like the welk snail—and even captured videos of a dolphin with her baby so we could stay present and enjoy the moment. The beach was beautiful, and the whole trip was a great experience. I especially appreciated how patient Alessia was with our group of middle-aged ladies, some of whom had never kayaked before. She made everyone feel comfortable and took her time with us. Not only would we absolutely book with Alessia again, we are already interested in trying her kayaking and yoga experience. Based on this tour, I would also use Get Up and Go Kayaking for other kayaking trips around the state. Highly recommend!

Awesome 7:30 AM tour with Jenna who is incredibly knowledgeable about the local environment and habitat. We saw manatee as well as a variety of birds. Jenna also had excellent history of how much the area has been developed and it’s impact to the environment. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was hands down one of my favorite experiences in St. Pete! Alessia was an incredible guide from start to finish. She led us through the beautiful mangroves in clear kayaks on our way to Shell Key while sharing so much interesting information about the local wildlife, ecosystem, and the history of St. Petersburg. Her knowledge and passion for the area made the whole experience feel so personal and engaging. We had some amazing wildlife encounters, including a rare reddish egret and even a manatee! Seeing them in their natural habitat was unforgettable. Once we reached Shell Key, Alessia guided us through a relaxing beach yoga flow before we had time to soak in the beauty of the island. It was such a thoughtful addition that made the experience feel truly unique, blending adventure, mindfulness, and nature into one perfect morning. The paddle back through the mangroves was peaceful and beautiful, and I left feeling refreshed and grateful. If you’re looking for an experience that’s more than just a kayak tour, book with Alessia. She creates something really special, and I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting or living in the St. Pete area.

What an incredible experience! Went on the tour with our two young kids and we loved every moment of it. Beautiful weather, the stop at the beach was great. Less was our tour guide and she was wonderful! So knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife and the landscape. She spent a lot of time with us and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We would 100% recommend the tour and we will be back! Thank you Less for making this tour the highlight of our vacation!
