7 Animal Activities You and Your Kids Will Love

Regardless of whether your kids are in preschool, kindergarten, or fully grown, there's an animal activity they’re sure to love in St. Pete/Clearwater. In fact, we’re willing to bet that you’ll love them, too! Because when it comes to animals, there's nothing more exciting than watching dolphins jump through the air, feeding giant giraffes or holding baby alligators.

1 Clearwater Marine Aquarium

Home to our most popular animals in the area, your kiddos might get a little star-struck when meeting the stars of the hit movies Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2. Fall in love with the dolphins Winter, Hope and Nicholas, admire the energetic otters, watch the graceful sea turtles and make friends with the sting rays. Sign up for a special Animal Encounter to get up-close or become a Trainer For a Day (ages 10 and up)! Open daily from 9 a.m to 6 p.m. Pricing varies, but children two and under are free!
