1 Imagination and Daring: “Dalí and Schiaparelli”

Wednesday, October 18, 2017 – Sunday, January 14, 2018

Delight in the daring and irreverent works of two celebrated artists when Dalí and Schiaparelli opens at The Dalí Museum in St. Pete. The exhibit will feature haute couture gowns and accessories, jewelry, paintings, drawings, objects and photos, as well as new designs by Bertrand Guyon for Maison Schiaparelli. This will be the first exhibition dedicated to the creative relationship and works of Elsa Schiaparelli and Salvador Dalí – friends and collaborators that set Paris and the world ablaze with their groundbreaking visions. A grand fashion show and black tie gala, bringing Paris chic to downtown St. Pete ushers in this special exhibition.

2 Clearwater Jazz Holiday

Bring your chairs and blankets and relax to the soothing sounds of jazz from world-class musicians complimented by beautiful waterfront settings. This year's event will feature legends Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald,, Americana favorites the Avett Brothers, The Four Tops and The Temptations, among others. The event takes full advantage of its home in Clearwater, offering music and art against the backdrop of warm breezes, brilliant sunsets and one of the world's greatest beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.

3 St. Pete Brewfest

St. Pete Brewfest is back! Join the Pelican Rugby Club at Kozuba & Sons Craft Distillery for an evening of sampling St. Pete’s favorite local brews while rocking out to live music by The Jeremy Thomas Band! Ticket sales to this event go towards Nourish to Flourish, an amazing cause whose mission is to feed chronically hungry children throughout Pinellas County. Tickets are only $35 and include unlimited beer and wine. There’s also a “Designated Driver” discount which is $10 for those not drinking.

6 St. Petersburg Saturday Morning Market

This is the largest weekly fresh market in the Southeast U.S. serving around 10,000 customers a week with its 130 vendors offering everything from fresh produce to homemade soaps to ready to eat food from 15 different nationalities. 9 Upper Tampa Bay Oktoberfest

Friday, October 20, 2017 – Sunday, October 22, 2017

Roll out the barrels... and walk through the doors of the Oktoberfest Village to be transported to a world of family fun, good times and good cheer. Oldsmar is throwing a German Oktoberfest celebration at Tampa Bay Downs! Join the three day party with German food, drinks, music, and dancing, plus competitions for Stein Holding, Log Sawing, Keg Tossing, and Barrel Rolling. The festivities kick off on Friday from 5-11 p.m., continue Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and wrap up on Sunday noon to 6 p.m. Admission is $5; military and kids 12 and under are free.
