Music in the Marly at the Museum of Fine Arts: Stephen Prutsman, Piano
Stephen Prutsman, an innovative pianist, composer and conductor, returns to the MFA. Prutsman has served as an Artistic Partner for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, as well as the Artistic Director of the Cartagena International Festival of Music in South America.
Prutsman's body of work incorporates a vast array of genres, ranging from classical to jazz to world music. He has collaborated with a range of artists and his compositions and arrangements have been performed by the St. Lawrence String Quartet and Yo-Yo Ma. Marly Music Society members are invited to attend a members-only reception following Prutsman's performance.
