Music in the Marly at the Museum of Fine Arts: Scott Kluksdahl, Cello and Noreen Cassidy-Polera, Piano
Scott Kluksdahl, an esteemed cellist and the Theodore and Vennette Askounes-Ashford Distinguished Scholar at USF, returns to the MFA. Kluksdahl made his debut in the San Francisco Symphony and has performed as an orchestral soloist, recitalist and chamber musician in venues across the U.S., Europe, Israel and Latin America. Joining Scott Kluksdahl, Noreen Cassidy-Polera is a Juilliard-trained and internationally-performing pianist who has collaborated with Leonard Rose and Yo-Yo Ma, among others. Cassidy-Polera has recorded for Sony and EMI and was the winner of the Accompanying Prize at Moscow's Eighth International Tchaikovsky Competition.
