Vegan For All  

After challenging themselves to eat solely raw or vegan for two weeks, Roland Strobel and Johan Everstijn discovered they felt more energetic, clear-headed and just plain awesome. Taking what they learned from that experience, Johan decided to kick it up a notch and challenged himself to create 30 different raw and vegan recipes. Thus, The Cider Press Café́ was born!

Their mission? Change folks’ misperceptions that raw, vegan or vegetarian food is bland and cold. They’re creating delicious and approachable vegan cuisine for everyone, from vegans and vegetarians to omnivores who are just trying to spice things up with their meals. Their award-winning kitchen is one of a kind and they spend a lot of time and love ensuring every meal is animal-free, gluten-free and nutrient-dense. “You have to make it more approachable to the everyday person that isn’t vegan,” explained Executive Chef, Nathan Bohn. “So that’s what we’re trying to do.”

There's a lot of artistic creativity. It really inspires us to create this unique environment.”
