Located at 22nd Street South in St. Petersburg, Florida, the Morean Arts Center for Clay is housed in the Historic Seaboard Train Station along with St. Petersburg Clay Company and Highwater Clays. Also onsite at the Train Station are a variety of kilns including the legendary Anagama kiln built by master potter Don Reitz.

Our classes and workshops are designed with you in mind. Whether you are beginner or a seasoned potter, you’re sure to find the perfect challenge to create in this magical medium. Classes range from hand-building to wheel throwing, figurative sculpture to “Give Me Five”—an opportunity to create your own class of five students or more in a one-day, three week and six-week format to provide flexibility to match your schedule. Our community of professional teaching artists provides a supportive environment for students to learn and explore the latest techniques in clay. Our studios are available to rent for a special event, a meeting or just a fun night with your friends.
