st. nicholas greek orthodox cathedral
Description
Patterned after St. Sofia's in Constantinople, this church is an excellent example of New Byzantine architecture with an interior of sculptured Grecian marble, elaborate icons and stained glass. The Cathedral was built in 1943, replacing a smaller structure built in 1907 by the community's early Greek settlers.
