Pier 60 at Clearwater Beach

Pier 60 features a fishing pier and recreational park. Total length of the current fishing pier is 1,080 feet. Offering bait house, telescopes and six covered pavilions. The Pier 60 bait house offers a complete line of fishing tackle, T-shirts, souvenirs, drinks, and snacks as well as rental equipment , a full line of bait, and a staff that is knowledgeable and eager to assist.  The most common fish that can be caught include Spanish Mackerel, Spotted and Silver trout, Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Sheephead, Snappers, Flounder, Jacks, and numerous others depending on the season. One of the reasons Pier 60 is so popular is the pier’s many lights, ideal for night fishing.

The park also features restrooms and one of the largest beach playgounds on the gulf. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 364 days out of the year.   Parents will be glad to know that a well-equipped playground provides hours of enjoyment for little ones. "Sunsets at Pier 60," a Clearwater Beach tradition, offers a variety of crafts and entertainment from 6 - 9 p.m. each night. A beautiful view of the sunset makes for a perfect way to celebrate the end of the day.
