Description

Located between St.Petersburg and Tampa  the Weedon Island Preserve offers paddlers and hikers alike the chance to get close to the Real Florida . Sweetwater Kayaks offers kayak rentals in one and two person kayaks for half day and hourly rental. The kayak trail at Weedon Preserve is a lovely paddle through mangrove tunnels and a necklace of islands that takes the paddler back in time  and through an amazing ecosystem. Rentals are also available at the shop which is on Snug Harbor, kayaks and Paddleboards can be used in Snug Harbor. A wide variety of birdlife and sea creatures can be seen at either location!
