Frenchy's Rockaway Grill

Made famous by their grouper sandwiches Frenchy's is a favorite with both locals and visitors. The classic grouper sandwich comes grilled, cajun, buffalo and Caribbean-jerk style. And, you can even order extra sized sandwiches. The Frenchy's empire has now expanded to four restaurants, all in Clearwater Beach.  Frenchy's Rockaway Grill is the largest of the restaurants and its open-air atmosphere with plenty of seating on the wide, white-sand beach provides a great view of the sun setting behind the Gulf of Mexico. Live music is often on hand.

Each Frenchy's Restaurant has its own style, but they all feature great seafood in a casual atmosphere.  Mike "Frenchy" Preston, owner, was born in Quebec but has taken up permanent residence on Clearwater Beach.
