Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg - Day Three
Mar. 13, 2016
The anticipation has been building for today's main event - the final race for the Verizon IndyCar Series. Thousands will flock to downtown St. Petersburg's to watch race cars zoom through the streets at optimal speeds along one of racing's most beautiful road courses with trackside waterfront views. This final day of Race Weekend is the grand finale of the three-day event. Other races will include the Indy Lights series, Pirelli World Challenge (PWC), Pro Mazda and the Baja-style Stadium Super Trucks. Head to the winners' circle after the final race for the awards ceremonies.
Race fans can look for St. Petersburg resident and IndyCar driver Sebastien Bourdais or USF2000 driver Ayla Agren, also a St. Petersburg resident, on and off the track. Inside the track, families are welcome to experience racing's thrills in the Speed Zone, while autograph seekers hope for a chance encounter with their favorite driver in the IndyCar Fan Village.
