Meet Winter the Dolphin at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium

CityPASS Savings on Must-See Attractions

The St. Pete/Clearwater area has miles of pristine white-sand beaches, but there’s plenty more to discover beyond the beach. From unique museums to amusement parks, families can enjoy a number of great things to see and do when visiting the area. Want to save on attractions on the top of your “must-see” list? Thanks to the new CityPASS Tampa Bay, visitors can enjoy admission to some of the best area attractions for one low price starting May 20. Here you’ll discover all of the places you can see – and save on – with a CityPASS.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium

With your CityPASS admission you can journey to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and meet Winter, the star of the movies “Dolphin Tale” and soon-to-be-released “Dolphin Tale 2”, along with fellow dolphin, Hope, and other marine animals. You can pose for a photo with one of the dolphins, feed a stingray or one of the two “Rufus” pelicans that appeared in the movie, take an eco-boat tour, and even be a trainer for the day. Be sure also to check out Winter’s Dolphin Tale Adventure exhibit, which tells the behind-the-scenes story of the “Dolphin Tale” film with movie images, props and sets.

Chihuly Collection

Come see the visually stunning works of famed glass artist Dale Chihuly at the Chihuly Collection, the first permanent exhibit in a building specifically designed to display his colorful creations, right on the water in downtown St. Petersburg. Start your visit with the 20-foot-high Rose Crystal Tower sculpture at the entrance, then go on to explore a kaleidoscope of glass installations on display, including the Ruby Red Icicle Chandelier made specifically for the location. You can also watch glassblowers create pieces, or learn to make your own at the Glass Studio and Hot Shop a mile away.

Busch Gardens + Other Attractions

Have some thrilling adventures at Busch Gardens in Tampa with roller coasters such as Cheetah Hunt, Montu and SheiKra, and enjoy the 12,000-plus animals and live shows. You’ll also enjoy admission to the Florida Aquarium where you can encounter 20,000 sea creatures. Want more? How about discovering the 1,000 animals including, leopards, bears, tigers, manatees and koalas at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, rated No. 1 in the nation by Parents magazine in 2009. Then, learn how science can be fun at MOSI - the Museum of Science and Industry, with hands-on exhibits, the Sky Trail Ropes Course and Zip Line, and Florida’s only IMAX DOME Theatre.

Grab Your CityPASS Today

Not only can travelers who purchase a Tampa Bay CityPASS ticket booklet save on admission to these attractions, many CityPASS holders are able to bypass ticket lines too. Getting a CityPASS is easy. Present your printed voucher at one of the participating attractions to exchange for a CityPASS booklet, or purchase your booklet online. CityPASS ticket booklets are valid for nine days, starting with the first day of use.
