Outback Bowl and Beach Day

Explore America's top-rated beaches while you enjoy all exciting offerings surrounding the Outback Bowl. St. Pete/Clearwater welcomes all of the friends and family from the SEC and Big Ten Conference for the 2010 Outback Bowl.

The game is a culmination of a week-long schedule of events throughout the area, highlighted by Beach Day in Clearwater and a New Year's Eve Parade in Ybor City. The game kicks off at 11 a.m. on New Year's Day at Raymond James Stadium, where the Auburn Tigers square off against the Northwestern Wildcats.

Beach Day is a fun free event taking place on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, featuring performances and competitions by bands and cheerleaders from the teams who will be facing each other in the January 1, 2010, bowl game. Dip your toes in the soft white sands as you cheer on your favorite team. This beachside pep rally includes live music, skydivers, a tug-of-war and other contests taking place at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort.
