With one of the largest displays of military artifacts and memorabilia, the new 33,000-square-foot Armed Forces Military Museum includes an extensive World War II collection, the only known Saddam Hussein uniform in the USA, an experimental Ford utility truck, and a dozen retired tanks and other military vehicles, as well as realistic displays and replicas.

Visitors are first welcomed into the museum in the Salute to Services area, which proudly displays uniforms from actual soldiers, navy seals and auxiliary units. Formal wear from several generations of armed forces are also on show, as well as a detailed miniature army base with trains that actually run, a sure win with kids and veterans alike!

The WWI exhibit features a full size battle trench, complete with the smoke and sounds from battle. You'll feel you are actually back in 1916 Europe. After you've "fought" your way out of the trench, you'll be greeted by the attacking Japanese fleet on Pearl Harbor, which starts the museums WWII collection. Actual footage from Pearl Harbor is displayed on a massive overhead screen, as well detailed replica war ships, a recreated enemy scouting post, and a Japanese soldier display featuring uniforms and supplies.

Among the many fascinating displays, one of the must see attractions is Saddam Hussein's uniform. The only known uniform of the former dictator in the United States, this uniform was captured out of one of the former dictator's palaces by liberating U.S. forces.

The Wall of Heroes showcases donated personal photographs, uniforms, journals and other memorabilia of former military personnel. Donations are accepted as a way to honor veterans and their families. And don't miss the beautiful memorial walk and garden dedicated to honor all who served in the armed forces.
