Four Days and Nights of Live Jazz

Blowing their horns for 34 years now, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday is a world-class gathering of the some of the greatest talents and enthusiastic fans of jazz. This four-day-and-night event takes full advantage of its home on the magnificent waterfront in downtown Clearwater. Taking place at beautiful Coachman Park, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday offers live music against the backdrop of warm breezes, brilliant sunsets and one of the world's greatest beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.

In past years the Clearwater Jazz Holiday has featured such legendary talents as Tony Bennett, Woody Herman, Buddy Rich, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Mann, Dave Brubeck, Tito Puente and others. The line up for 2014 includes a mix of the most recognized national and regional artists and celebrated local acts. Music lovers will relish this year's colorful and diverse musical lineup, from smooth and straight-ahead jazz, rhythm and blues and jam band to funk, fusion and Latin. This year's world-class event features Earth, Wind and Fire; Dr. John and the Night Trippers; Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes; Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue; Spyro Gyra; the Dirty Dozen Brass Band; Marcia Ball and Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience.

Bring your chair and blanket and be ready to enjoy four days of great jazz. Or, get up close to your favorite artists with reserved seating. Food, beverage and event memorabilia concessions are available for purchase on site.

Continue the Clearwater Jazz Holiday experience by attending the Clearwater Jazz After Party on Friday and Saturday nights from 10:30pm until 1:30am at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Clearwater. Constructed and established in 1921 as the Capitol Theatre (Royalty Theatre 1982-2008), this classic structure, complete with a large mezzanine and furnishings reminiscent of a classic Hollywood theater, is one of the oldest operating theatres in the state of Florida. Listen to the sounds of the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Jam Band, hosted by Allon Sams and featuring the "All-Star house Band" and others. You never know who might show up and sit in for the Jam!
